Our church was founded on August 13, 1978 with the perspective of glorifying the God of the Scriptures through the promotion of his worship, the evangelization of sinners and the edification of saints. We recognize Christ as the head of the church, and therefore his word, the Bible, is our final authority and our only infallible and true rule of all saving knowledge, faith and obedience.

However, we are also a confessional church, as we recognize the need to systematize biblical teachings so that we can give a comprehensive expression of what we believe the Word of God teaches. In this sense we declare that the London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 is a faithful expression of the set of truths that we believe and proclaim.

We believe that Jesus Christ has given gifts to his Church, such as pastors and teachers for the building up of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12).
