This church emerges as an initiative of the Primera Iglesia Bautista Fundamental “La Fe”, in its missionary labor.

 

In the year 2002, formal biblical studies began in the Cristo Rey sector, with the aim of establishing a Bautista Church of Sana Doctrina. On August 24, 2002, Pastor Rafael Pineda, pastor of the Primera Bautista Fundamental Church “La Fe” returned with his brother Ramón De Jesus Lebrón, head of this church, to complete the details and send it as the work in Cristo Rey.

Mircoles 18 de Septiembre del 2002 el hno. Ramón De Jesús Lebrón joined by his wife Cesarina Marte de De Jesús and his two hijabs Ammy and Anna; they were sent in a special cult, for the work of Cristo Rey; They were accompanied by 15 more men, making a total of 19 hours. of the Church “La Fe”, residents in the sector of Cristo Rey.

On the 26th of September 2002 the first official cult was carried out in the work of Cristo Rey and on the 27th, 28th and 29th of September the First Evangelical Campaign was launched in the sector, in the Christian Mothering Center by Pastor Julio Rosa.

This church opened its doors as the Iglesia Bautista Fundamental “Christ is the King” and the “Iglesia Bautista Fundamental “Redención”, by suggestion of Pastor José Agüero at the Annual Conference of La Vega, in 2003.
