The Primera Iglesia Bautista de Carolina is a historic Baptist congregation located at 203 Calle Ignacio Arzuaga #7, Carolina, Puerto Rico. Established in 1901, it is one of the oldest Baptist churches on the island, serving as a center for worship, education, and community outreach. The church is affiliated with the Iglesias Bautistas de Puerto Rico and the American Baptist Churches USA, emphasizing both local autonomy and cooperative mission work. 

The church’s stated mission is to proclaim the transformative gospel of Jesus Christ through diverse ministries, providing pastoral care and discipleship rooted in love, justice, and mercy. Its vision is to be a congregation of believers who grow in faith and act as agents of change in their communities under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. 

Primera Iglesia Bautista de Carolina adheres to core Baptist principles such as believer’s baptism by immersion, the authority of the Bible, the priesthood of all believers, and the separation of church and state. It emphasizes evangelism, mission work, and personal responsibility before God.
